Art on Wheels.

Star of the Show: 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC

Every cars and coffee event I’ve been to, there’d always be that one car that I’d practically glue myself to — something so unique, cool, so star-of-the-show that I would spend half an hour just obsessing over every detail of the car. Sometimes it’s an obscure Rover estate wagon, or an 80s classic Peugeot hatchback, or a video game hero a la the R34 GTR.

This Ferrari 330 GTC though is the cream of the crop. The 2+2 GT has a 4.0 litre, triple-Weber V12 sitting up front, and it sounded absolutely glorious when fired up. The Pininfarina-designed body is up there as one of the best-looking Ferraris ever made — and they only made 600 of them. The interior, for a lack of a better word, is absolutely perfect, from the wood trims, to the steering wheel, to the gauges, to the mechanical switches, to even the indicators.

As soon as the owner turned up, it immediately attracted a huge crowd @greatervancouvercarsandcoffee. Perfectly understandable — this is the sort of Ferrari that Nicholas Cage was talking about when it comes to looking like a connoisseur in Gone in 60 Seconds.

Not exactly the rarest Ferrari I’ve seen in person, but definitely one of the coolest. I took 137 photos of this car as soon as it turned up, and not a single shot wasted.
